A FASHION influencer tried out two Skims tops to see if they were work appropriate.
The content creator noticed a gross looking problem with both items.
TikTok user Veronica (@veronicaametaa) explained that she was testing two Skims tops, alongside two Aritizia looks, to test if they were see through.
In her video, Veronica explained: "The goal here was literally to just get a white short sleeve shirt or tank top that I can wear to my company off-site and for it not be see through."
The TikToker pointed out that she was willing to "shell out" up to $50 for a suitable top and that the quality of the items should reflect the high price tag.
For her first look, Veronica shared her thoughts on the $36 cotton rib tank in the color Bone.

"I understand that it’s off-white but immediately when I saw it the first thing that popped into my mind was ‘it looks like sweat stains,'" the influencer said.
She continued: "The color Bone sounds cool, I get it, but I pulled out the shirt I’m trying to replace because it has sweat stains, and it's from Lululemon from four years ago."
Veronica held both shirts up to the camera so viewers could see the similarities.
"There are sweat stains in the shirt, I’m outing myself right now. This lighting is not showing it but just take my word for it that they are similar in color. So that’s not cool," she told her followers.

Veronica tried on the tops with a black sports bra underneath, highlighting the sheer material.
Modeling the $48 cotton jersey T-shirt, the TikTok user said: "This one I will say is it does make me look snatched because it is Skims and it does that but again, it’s see through."
The stylish creator explained that even with a nude bra, the top was clearly sheer.
Veronica then tried on two Aritizia looks, deciding that the $38 Babaton contour crew T-shirt.
The influencer explained that the double lining of the top made it perfect for work.
"I genuinely thought I'd keep both [Skims tops] when I bought them," Veronica wrote in the caption.
She concluded: "Safe to say, I am unhappy with Skims.
TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on tops.
"I got the skims tank in BLACK and it’s see through," wrote one viewer.
