A CRAFTY woman has revealed her handy skills by converting an old shed into a tiny home.
She claimed the renovation would save her children rent money in the future.
Katy Krebs (@katyelizkrebs) filmed her shed in its original condition in a video on TikTok.
"Turning an old shed into a livable tiny home, so my kids don't have to grow up paying $1500 plus in rent," read the text.
She transitioned to a clip of the tiny home, which clearly had a glow up from its former appearance.
The outside of the tiny home featured ambient fairy lights that gave the space an elevated look.
She filmed the interior of the home, which included a bedroom, living area, bathroom, and even a kitchen.
"Everything we do, we do for them," she added in the caption.
The video drew in many viewers who expressed curiosity in the tiny home lifestyle.
"So where do the kids stay?" one asked, with Katy replying: "Home with us."

"I love this," another added. "It's exactly what we want to do for our kids."
"Awww that’s absolutely amazing of you both to do that for them. As a mother this makes my heart smile," a third commented.
"Did you run electricity and water lines from your main lines or give the shed it’s own 'address' for a separate bill? I love this idea," yet another chimed in.
"We used the pole on the property for electricity, and tied into the water that was on the property. Just used the same address as our forever home," Katy wrote back.
"How much did it cost for you to do this?" one more asked.
Katy responded: "$16,000 from start to finish. We reused a lot of material around the property which saved a lot."
