I was called a bad mom for bringing my kids to the gym – sometimes they work out with me, they even have kiddie weights | The Sun

FED up with the constant mom shaming, a mother clapped back at her critics and defended her decision to bring her kids with her to the gym.

She said they can play and even workout alongside her.

With little kids at home, TikToker Reby Hardy (@rebyhardy) knows it’s hard to get a minute to herself.

After she found a way to squeeze a workout in while still watching her children, people criticized her parenting style.

“Somebody said I was a bad mom because my kids were in my gym as I worked out,” she revealed in a video.

The fitness fan was performing her stretches and exercises as the little ones frolicked beside her.

She explained why the outing was a win-win for both parties, saying: “They have their own play area where I can see them at all times.”

One of her kids mimicked the squats their mom was doing while another one held a bright green kiddie weight in their palm.

“Though sometimes they’d rather pretend to workout with me,” Reby admitted, getting emotional about their attachment to her.

Calling out the mom-shamers, she said it’s a losing battle to try and correct them.

“Something tells me they’d also be mad if I sat [my kids] alone in front of an iPad instead.

“Or they’d be the type to shame a mom for not being in shape.

“The same people who would call a mom lazy for having a nanny.

“Moms literally CANNOT WIN.”

Still, Reby made her situation work – doing push-ups as one child sat on her back.

In the caption, she further clapped back at the naysayers: “Convinced y’all just hate moms.”

Her sentiment resonated with viewers.

“If there is one place kids should be, it’s with mom learning healthy habits and participating with her. You’re doing good mama,” one praised.
