A WOMAN and her friend who work onboard a cruise ship have revealed the four things that people are always surprised to learn about their jobs.
Erica, who is from America, took to TikTok alongside her colleague Adam, to reveal "things you didn't know about cruise ships."
And it turns out there's a very important secret code that passengers are totally oblivious to.
In the clip, Adam begins: "One of the onboard secret codes is Alpha, Alpha, Alpha, which means there's a medical emergency onboard."
Next up, Erica reveals: "Cruise ships are legally obligated to carry body bags on board – and there's even a morgue onboard."
Another revelation that shocked social media users was the food item that's so popular, chefs get through a whopping 60,000 of them over the duration of one cruise.
