AN age-defying woman has wowed after revealing the skincare routine that has kept her free from wrinkles and fine lines.
Lila (@lila50isthenewfword) listed each of the 10 steps in her Korean method for achieving healthy, hydrated, younger-looking skin.
She has garnered almost 150,000 followers on TikTok where she shares beauty tips for midlife women.
She is often mistaken for being many years younger than 52 because of her ageless appearance.
Lila said: “I’m going to do the 10-step Korean skincare method.
“All of the steps, so you can understand the flow of things.
“I’m going to start off with cleaning using my rice cleanser from House of Dohwa.
“I add a little water and lather it up in my hands then apply it to my face.
“Step two is going to be cleanse again and step three is your acid.
“I’m going to go in with this peach Anua serum.

"Peach has a lot of vitamin C which is considered an acid, so I’m going to apply that to my dry skin.”
Lila explained that people can use other brands but vitamin C should be left for 20 minutes so that the skin can absorb it.
She continued: “Then you’re going to go in with a toner.
“Toners will help balance the PH in our skin and it introduces our skin to hydration.
“If you’re using an acid-type toner you also want to get a toner that balances and hydrates the skin.
“After you tone your skin go in with an essence, I’m going to use this glow mister to dampen my skin up a little.”
She sprayed Fresh’s vitamin nectar antioxidant face mist onto her skin before applying an essence.
Lila recapped the steps so far stressing the importance of cleansing, using an acid, toner, and essence then serum.
She said: Six is going to be treatments. I’ve just got back from vacation, I had a lot of sun, wind, and pollution.
“I’m a little red around the nose so I’m probably going to use something more healing to the skin for my treatment.
“I do an assessment of my skin daily for step six to make sure I’m treating the things that I need to treat.”
Lila initially opted for a serum from Depology and a Medik8 peptide to plump her skin as she reassured her viewers that they could layer products together.
However, she quickly changed her mind and decided to use True Botanicals Renew Chebula serum instead.
She said: “Step seven is going to be your eyes.
“I’m going to put on my Caudalie Premier Cru.
“Your next step is going to be a mask.
“The Korean 10 step, people get confused because they think they have to do every single step every day.
“And it just doesn’t make sense or really work for us.
“People think there is no way I could do all that stuff every day and I probably couldn’t either because of how it is here in the States, rush, rush.
“Usually step three and eight, which are the acid and mask I might skip on certain days.
“Days that I’m waking up late and I don’t have time for the acids to absorb completely or wear a mask for 10 minutes.”
Lila removed the sheet mask that she had placed on her face and began to pat all of the serums on her skin.
She gushed about how radiant she looked before applying a moisturizer for step nine.
She said: “Step 10 is SPF. Never forget your SPF.
“So there you have it your 10-step Korean routine if you want that glass, radiant from within skin.”
The video quickly racked up thousands of views and comments from people who were grateful that she shared her advice.
One person wrote: “I love my Korean skincare and my skincare routine. It’s my me time.”
