HIRING a cleaner can be pretty pricey.
But if you want the professional finish when it comes to your home there are a few tricks.
Cleaning and organising expert Caroline Solomon recently took to TikTok to share her tips on how to clean like a pro.
Her first tip is to make sure you get every last crumb when cleaning surfaces.
You can do this be lowering yourself to eye level, where you'll be able to spot stray crumbs or streaks.
Next, if you use a microfibre cloth to clean, always use the rough side for the initial clean, then buff with the soft side.

This will ensure you mirrors and surfaces are clean and don't have any lingering streaks.
You might think that by removing items from a surface to clean it you're being thorough.
But Caroline recommends going the extra mile and wiping down the items you moved too.
It's also important to the items back neatly, the pro suggests setting them down parallel for a streamline look.

"Introduce a dust mop into your cleaning routine," the cleaning whizz says.
"They remove dust like a pro and you wont have to mop as often."
Getting any hard to reach corners or under tables will make all the difference when it comes to a deep clean.
Caroline's sixth tip is the always opt for a non scratch sponge to clean delicate surfaces.
Your tub, tiles and faucets will benefit from the softer sponge and will look new much longer.
