In a recent clip, the page shared excellent advice on post-Christmas sink cleaning.
The video caption reads: “You don’t realise how gross your pipes get until you take them apart.”
The clip, taken from another TikTok page – mumatnumber23 – describes the cleaning enthusiasts annual blitz after the holidays.
“Welcome to my Christmas Clean Up 2022,” the woman states in a friendly voice.

“The first job that I decided I wanted to tackle was my kitchen sink’s plug hole and the pipes,” the lady states as the clip plays.
Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree plays in the background as the lady lifts the plug out of the sink to reveal a layer of horrid scum and dirt.
“And I’m not gonna lie, I was surprised how disgusting this was,” she adds.
“Don’t get me wrong I knew it was gonna be dirty, but not to this extent.”

The woman places a big plastic bowl underneath the sink and begins carefully unscrewing the pipes.
“And on top of all of that, the stench from the pipes was absolutely horrific,” she explains.
“It smelt like rotting food and death combined.”
She continues dismantling the pipework, showing the camera just how much gunk has built up inside over the festive period.

Once the pipes are wiped clean she has one last nugget of advice.
“A little tip for anybody who takes their pipes apart – put a little bit of kitchen roll up the one pipe that’s left open to stop the stench from the sewers coming in.”
