A HAIRDRESSER has shared five essential tips for anyone wanting to grow their locks longer and faster.
Stella Cini is a professional hair stylist and owner of her own brand of hair care, so she knows a thing or two about keeping your tresses looking luscious.
After Stella's own hair began to thin and break she decided to take a few steps to grow it back, and they worked like a charm.
Posting on TikTok, she revealed the four tips she swears by to long, healthy hair.
Massage your scalp
According to the pro, one of the most important things when it comes to growing your hair is massaging your scalp.
Massaging your is said to increase the blood flow, Stella explained: "With more blood flowing through your head, the follicle receives way more oxygen and nutrients, which promotes the growth of strong, thick and healthy hair."

Eat the right food
We all know having a balanced diet is the key to a healthy lifestyle, but your diet can also effect your hair.

You can also add more berries into your diet, which benefit your hair thanks to the high levels of vitamin C and antioxidant properties.

"Malnutrition and strict diets can very much restrict hair growth," Sella added, so make sure you're eating full and balanced meals every day.
Hair serums
There are lots of different hair oils and serums out there which can aid the growth of hair.
Argon oil is one of the more readily available options, and the cheapest, but there are also other pharmaceutical ones, like minoxidil, Stella explained.
Just apply the serum to your scalp and through the lengths of your hair to keep it feeling hydrated.
Avoid heat
Not damaging the hair you already have will help you achieve longer, thicker locks much faster.
Using too much heat anddying or bleach your hair often can lead to more damage and split ends, which can make your hair appear even shorter.
You can wear your hair in a protective style as it grows, or find heatless ways to style your locks instead.
