WITH back to school season here it can be a difficult time for many parents as they scramble to get affordable school uniforms.
Well, one mum has shared how you can refresh last year’s jumpers, provided your child hasn’t grown out of them, and have them look good as new for less than a fiver.
TikToker Iona, who goes by @flirtcobain shared a simple hack for getting her children’s old school jumpers ready for the new academic year.
In the video she shows the jumpers being washed, and in the caption she writes: “Refreshing last year's school clothes as they still fit the kids by using Dylon fabric dye in the washing machine.”
After using the dye, the jumpers are then washed for a second time, this time just using your regular washing detergent.
She then finishes by tumble drying the clothes, with some dryer sheets.
