After fully saturating the jeans with water she revealed the fully dry jeans, which fit visibly looser.
Many had questions for Abby regarding the DIY denim.
"Isn't it difficult to take them off all wet?" one asked. "Or do you sit with them till they dry?"
"It was a rainy day," Abby explained. "So I peeled them off."

"Maybe 10 minutes?" Abby replied.
"Wow," another user wrote. "Did you use warm water or just cold water?"
"I used warm because I didn't want to be cold," Abby specified. "Not sure if there's a difference or not though."
"How did you dry them?" another user inquired.
"Air dry!" Abby advised. "It took two days but worth it."
Another commenter noted that the hack works both ways — to make your jeans fit looser or tighter.
"My grandma used to do this before school," the commenter shared. "So they'd fit tighter."
