AN etiquette coach has revealed her rules for walking elegantly and the perfect angle for your chin.

In a video uploaded to TikTok, a woman demonstrates the difference between walking "blunders" and her advice.

The caption says: "Ladies, do you want to master the art of elegant walking?

"You need to stop marching stiff and moving awkwardly like what we don't understand."

Footage begins with a woman walking towards the camera illustrating the incorrect way of moving between place to place.

She says common mistakes include legs being too far apart, a hunched back, shoulders being too far forward or place your handbag over your arm.

The woman also says it is incorrect to lift a dress up with both hands if you need to.

In the example of walking correctly, she says to stand up straight, keep your chin parallel to the floor and relax your shoulders.

It is necessary to refrain from curving your back and to tighten your core instead, she said.
