The TikToker offered her followers simple solutions to each of the design don'ts.
Showroom manager Sarah, who works at Life Interiors (@life.interiors), revealed the decor errors people often make.
For her first tip, she told her followers that "not measuring properly" when purchasing furniture is a common mistake.
Sarah and her co-worker demonstrated how people often use their arm span to calculate if an item will fit in their space.
Instead, the experts recommended taking a measuring tape with you when purchasing furniture.
She suggested being extra thorough with measurements.
"Measure twice friends,"Sarah wrote in the caption of the video.
Next, she showed viewers the importance of incorporating light fixtures throughout your home.
Sarah showed her audience an example of a desk that is "neglecting light."
