A MIDSIZE woman has revealed six top tips to help you survive summer – including why you should always size up in denim shorts.
Jess, who posts on the MidsizeFashionInspo page on TikTok, shared her suggestions in a video titled "how to survive summer as a midsize girl".
Firstly, she suggested spraying deodorant liberally on your inner thighs to help "stop chafing".
If you've got a dress that's too short, Jess recommends popping a pair of shorts on underneath to help maintain your modesty and prevent any prospective chub rub at the same time.
Minidresses and bodycon outfits are all the rage in summer, but if you're feeling a bit self-conscious or uncomfortable, why not pop a shirt on over your ensemble "for coverage".
Her fourth tip was to go up a size in denim shorts, and "put a belt on for a more flattering fit".

She demonstrated as she sported a pair of denim shorts and teamed them with a beige crop top and cream belt.
Jess also suggested investing in some "comfy and flattering dresses for easy outfits".
Her last tip was the cheeky suggestion that people should follow her for "hacks, tips and outfit inspo".
