I’m trolled for having a breast reduction – men tell me I’m less attractive but people only saw me for my boobs before | The Sun

ANYONE with a larger chest will tell you big boobs can be both a blessing and a curse.

One woman finally got fed up and scheduled a breast reduction, despite criticism in person and online.

On Janel Nelson's TikTok page, the influencer is brutally honest with her 115k followers about her quality of life before and after her breast reduction.

Nelson said the procedure reduced her cup size from a 28H to a 28C or D, depending on the bra.

In a series of videos, Nelson showed viewers what her body looked like before and after the operation, and slammed trolls who criticized her choice.

"One of the main reasons why I wanted to get a breast reduction was because people saw my boobs as my only redeemable quality," Nelson admitted in a clip.

"It wasn't me that people looked at," Nelson added. "It wasn't me that people saw and were friends with."

Thanks to her breast reduction, she no longer has insecurities around her chest.

"Now, I can confidently say that when I walk into a room where I'm friends with someone, it's because they like me and not what I look like," Nelson said.

In the comments sections of her videos, including before-and-afters, some viewers expressed surprise or confusion at Nelson's decision.

"It looks so much better, said no man ever," wrote one man, who said it was a "shame" Nelson decided to undergo the procedure.

Another told Nelson she went from a "9" to a "6" on a scale of attractiveness.

Nelson mostly ignored the dozens of men who commented "NO!" or "Why?!" but she did respond to a few unwanted criticisms.

"They shall not be forgotten," wrote one mournful man, pairing his dramatic comment with a crying emoji.

"They gone fam," Nelson wrote back. "Let it go."

When a different viewer said it was a "sad sad day," Nelson wrote back with a simple message: "Shut up," she said.

Despite the smattering of trolls, Nelson's comments were primarily filled with an outpouring of support.

"The best version of you is this self-confident new you," one of her followers wrote.

A few viewers even admitted they cried alongside a "happy and confident" Nelson who was moved to tears in the clips.

"My DREAM," wrote another woman who had been fantasizing about augmentation of her own. "You look so happy! I’m a 32GG and I wanna cry."

For anyone curious about the impact Nelson's decision might have had on her romantic life, a comment from one particular person provided answers.

"Second best decision you’ve made, next to marrying me," Nelson's supportive husband wrote.
