SINCE the "slap heard 'round the world" at the Oscars in March, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith have stayed under the radar.
Over the weekend, the celebrity couple was spotted in public for the first time since the incident, and a body language expert weighed in on the couple's future.
Will and Jada were spotted in Malibu, California, leaving Nobu together after a meal.
Jada held tight to Will, clinging to the back of his slacks or his belt, as he smiled and waved out at the crowd.
Speaking exclusively to The US Sun, body language expert Judi James said that the photos reveal plenty about the couple's current state.
"The body language in these photos suggests there is no dent, chip or even hairline fracture in the Will Smith brand or relationship following ‘Slap-gate,'" James explained.

There's a distinct difference between the two members of the couple, she said.
"Will walks ahead with his torso, arms, and hands showing no obvious signs of tension," James said.
"His smile looks authentically happy and upbeat thanks to the raised and rounded ‘apple shaped’ cheeks," she added.
Meanwhile, Jada is all-business, with a neutral facial expression but strong body language.

And just because she's "following" Will doesn't mean she's given up control in the relationship.
"Jada walks behind but her gesture looks almost parental in the way she seems to grab the back of her husband’s pants to steer or check him," James explained.
"This gesture seems to suggest some strong bonds between the couple, with Jada apparently in charge in this moment," the expert continued.
Anyone who's questioned the couple's longevity can note that they stay close together in these snaps, with Will always in arm's reach of his wife.
"As a tie-sign in public, it could be awkward," she reasoned, "unless Will was happy to let his wife steer here.
"His smile does seem to suggest he is," James added.
