Lidl is selling a £9.99 summer tea dress which is identical to Kate Middleton’s £449 frock

WANT to look like royalty but can’t afford a princess price tag?

Lidl is selling a replica dress to one worn by Kate Middleton – and it’s being sold for a purse-friendly £9.99.

The budget frock looks extremely similar to the stunning Ridley London summer dress the Duchess of Cambridge, 38, wore in June 2019.

The only difference is the eye-watering price tag, as Kate’s dress would have set you back a staggering £449.

Unsurprisingly, it was a huge hit with fans and sold out instantly at the time.

However royal fans can now copy the chic look while doing their food shop at supermarket Lidl.

The dupe version is Lidl’s Esmara Ladies maxi dress and also features a floral pattern, with butterfly sleeves and a frill hem.

You may have to be quick to get your hands on it, as thanks to the Kate Middleton effect, her wardrobe and replica versions tend to fly off shelves.

Kate’s dress was worn for a photography workshop with her patronage Action for Children run by the Royal Photographic Society.

She paired it with her favourite Castañer espadrilles and left her trademark locks in long flowing curls.

It’s not the first time a supermarket dupe has been spotted of Kate’s spectacular wardrobe.

George at Asda’s £22 Pink Satin Bow Neck Tiered Midi Dress looks remarkably similar to the Stella McCartney gown the royal mum-of-three wore to nephew Archie’s christening last year.
