WITH the rise of upcycling and people keen to make their money go further than ever, second-hand furniture is having a moment.
Charity shops and Facebook Marketplace are filled with cut-price chairs and tables – but it seems you should be careful before parting with your cash.
This is the start warning from one guy, who got more than he bargained for when he splashed out on a used stool.
The TikTok user, who goes by the handle blocheadkg, shared a shocking video which showed a shower of cockroaches falling from the chair.
Captioning the video: "This is why you don't buy used furniture," he initially showed off the cute-looking item.
The blogger obviously had a hunch about what might be hidden inside as he filmed the video in his garage, adding: "This is so you won't say I'm making this up."

Loads of the creepy crawlies cascaded to the ground, covering his garage floor.
