A MAN has hit headlines after sharing his "hack" for cleaning the toilet seat.
Wes Gonzales took to TikTok to post a video of himself using an apparent secret button on the hinge of the seat to remove it from the ceramic base.
"I never knew this," he wrote, alongside a mind blown emoji.
Once the seat was off, he put it into his dishwasher for a thorough clean – alongside some plates and cups.
"You can thank me later," Wes captioned the video.
But his cleaning hack sparked outrage from many people, who took to the comments section to express their horror.
