My DIY blunder saw me tear loads of paint off my wall – I found a £6 way to repair it & it looks WAY better than before | The Sun

SHE made an epic blunder when she took something off her wall – ripping off all the paint with it.

But as Tori "hates painting", she decided to look for an alternative way to cover up the destroyed wall.

So she ended up buying a wall collage kit from a discount store near her home, for just £3.15, and figured "what the heck".

"I started by obviously just covering the bad part first carefully, just really trying to line them up and get them to stay really well," she said of the coloured A5 sheets.

"I used double-sided packing tape pretty much, it worked really well.

"Everything stayed, it's still staying and it's staying well.

"And as you can see, it's doing its job of covering that hideous whatever you would call that mess.

"So after I got the hideousness covered I decided to just keep going, obviously, because why not turn it into like a funky little wallpaper?

"I tried really hard to space out the colours so that it didn't just all blur together."

Tori then ran out of the collage pieces, so popped back to the 5 Below store to pick up another one to finish off the wall on another day.

She concluded the transformation by painting the bottom green, before putting her VCR and all her VHS tapes there.

"I just think it's so cute. It's got a 90s vibe," she said.

Tori captioned her video by writing: "Total was $8 (£6.31) for this diy 'wallpaper' from @Five Below.

"It was super easy and an affordable quick fix until I figure out what I want to do on that wall."

People were quick to praise Tori for the transformation, with one writing: "I used collage cards like these to wallpaper my bathroom!

"I think it took over 300 of them! It so reminds me of a 90s concert venue’s bathroom."

As a third wrote: "It looks amazing, great idea".

"What a great idea! Looks so good," someone else said.
