A SKINCARE expert has revealed the secret to looking youthful without splurging on expensive beauty products.
Sherry Mayumi (@allofsherry) explained how neglecting one specific area of the face during your beauty routine can add years to your appearance.
She took to TikTok, where she boasts over 55,000 followers, to show exactly the spot people often miss when applying products on their face.
“There is one location on your face that you are neglecting and I’m going to show you where,” Sherry says.
“There is an area between your ear lobe and right above your jaw, the little thing that connects your ear to the side of your face.
“If you really take a look at it in a mirror, you can see that this is the one place where people age and they don’t even notice it.”
Sherry explains that it’s important to look after the skin on your entire face, but the area below the ears is often forgotten.
The licensed medical aesthetician rubs her hands over the area and works them down toward her jawline as she demonstrates the best practice.
“And when you’re doing treatments remind your provider to get right here because it’s going to make such a big difference as you get older,” Sherry adds.
“You’ll thank me in 10 years,” she says in the caption.
