A WOMAN has revealed she was so frustrated with people spelling her name wrong that she decided to pay to officially change it.
The lady, who now goes by the name Liz Johnson, took to social media to rant about the name mix-up and what led to her big decision.
She wrote: “My name has been spelled wrong my whole life – no matter what it was.”
The woman then revealed she’d been subject to people getting her name wrong ever since she was born – especially after her mum changed her name a whopping FOUR times.
She explained: “My mother decided to change the spelling of it when I was 10 after having it change from birth 4 times (Christie, Cristie, Kristie, Kristi).”
But even later in her life, after she tied the knot and had different married names, she still found the same “irksome” problem.

What’s more, the woman went on to say that even when she “actually chose” her own name and “paid to have it changed” the problem persisted.
She continued: “For me, the reason it’s irksome is it shows people could not give a f*** about you.
“You’re just another cog in the wheel of life.”
She then went on to say that she had “very little respect” for anyone who was spelling her name wrong – whether at work or in her own personal life.
