IT can be more than a little disheartening when you go shopping for clothes and find you don't fit into the size you thought you were.

But one woman has urged people not to be so caught up on the size on the label – using her own wardrobe as an example.

Rachel Henley, who describes herself as a "body confidence coach", took to her TikTok page to share a video in which she explained that she fits in anything from a size six to a 14.

In an off-the-shoulder crop top and high-waisted denim shorts, Rachel began: "Do you want to hear something that’s f**king stupid?

"Of course you do.

"These shorts are a size 14 , this top is a size eight.

"My clothes range from a size six to a size 14 depending on what shop I f**king shop at."

She continued to urge people to wear what they feel comfortable in, rather than trying to squeeze themselves into something that doesn't fit.

"So before you go and get in a bad mood because you’re not fitting in the normal clothes size that you normally fit in, remember that those numbers on the clothes are literally b**locks, that mean f**k all b**locksing s**t," she said.

"And you should just wear the stuff that you feel comfortable in, which means this today."

"Gentle reminder to not let a number on a label define how you feel about your body," Rachel added in the caption of her video.

She was quickly praised by others in the comments section, with one writing: "Completely agree with this. Ignore the label and just wear what you comfy in."

"You’re not meant to 'fit into clothes', clothes are meant to fit you," Rachel replied.

"It’s taken me 40 years to realise this!! So now I like my body instead of hate it due to silly sizing in shops," another added.
