People call me ‘sick’ and ‘so rude’ because of the dress I wore to my twin sister’s wedding – I don’t care, I love it | The Sun

A WOMAN has been labelled "so rude" after revealing the dress she wore to her twin sister's wedding.

Anastasia tied the knot back in 2022 and when her twin Francesca said "I do", she decided to give her own wedding gown another outing.

She took to TikTok to share a video of herself and her friend "freshening up" during the nuptials, as she showed off the floor-length white gown she was wearing.

"This is my outfit of the night," Anastasia said.

"I'm at my sister's wedding, she's upstairs at cocktail hour, but my friend Madeline and I were just freshening up so I actually am wearing my wedding dress.

"You guys can kind of see the bottom, and there's a bow at the back."

"That's just disrespectful".

"I can’t believe you are going to wear your wedding dress to your sister's wedding. That is sick," another added.

"Is the bride not supposed to be the only one in a wedding dress?" someone else commented.

"Why would you wear a wedding dress at your sister's wedding?" another raged.

"You’re trying to get the attention. Instead of having your sister have her day. It’s sad".

"A bit disrespectful wearing your wedding wedding dress to your sister's wedding," another agreed.

As someone else commented: "A wedding dress at someone else’s wedding… I’d throw you out!"

"She wanted too but our dad wouldn’t let her," Anastasia joked.

But others insisted she must have had permission to wear the gown.

"Do you honestly think she would wear this dress if her sister didn't want her to?" one wrote.

"Y'all come onto this app and act dense for fun?!"

"The people who are assuming that you are wearing your white wedding dress to your sister’s wedding without her requesting it are insane," another added.

As a third comment came from the bride herself, with Francesca writing: "I am the twin who asked her to wear her wedding dress!!!!!"

"Congrats! And I'm glad the dress was at your request!" someone responded to that remark.

"I’m typically chill with whatever my friends wear… but no one will wear white on my special day. I can’t," another had commented.

To which Anastasia had replied: "My sister wanted me to!!!"

"I was like wait but then went snooping and it’s actually really adorable and special thing to do with a twin," someone else added.

As another agreed, writing: "Why do I think this is the cutest thing ever. and a good way to reuse a dress u spent thousands of dollars on?!"

"STOP WAIT THE DRESS IS SOOO CUTEEE!!! I just know your sister asked you because HELLOOO?!" someone else wrote.

With Anastasia agreeing again, replying: "Yes!!!! She asked!"

In another slideshow of pictures on her TikTok page, Anastasia showed herself wearing her wedding dress while with bride Francesca.

Both wore sunglasses as they posed for pictures hand-in-hand, and showed off their different styles in the process – as Francesca had opted for an off-the-shoulder lace wedding dress and veil for her big day.
