THE DUCHESS of Sussex made 'unsubtle threats' against the Royal Family during an explosive tell-all interview, a royal commentator has sensationally claimed.

Meghan Markle made some incredible claims about her time in the Royal family, when she spoke to New York based magazine, The Cut.

She made it clear that she kept a daily journal while being a senior member of the Firm, and mentioned she had not signed an NDA.

This means there is no gag order stopping Meghan from spilling more bombshells about the Firm.

Daily Mail editor Richard Eden, believes these were very direct hints that the Duchess could release some jaw dropping details.

He told the Daily Mail: "She made a series of very unsubtle hints that she could say a lot more in the future. It seemed to be clear that they were threats."

She was coming across as saying, ‘I can say these things, I’ve chosen not to'."

The UK is just now days away from receiving Prince Harry and Meghan, as they launch their One Young World summit in Manchester on 5 September.

Meghan slammed for releasing bombshell podcast on the 25th anniversary of Diana's death

Speaking on The Morning Show, Peter Ford criticised Meghan Markle's decision to release the second episode of her podcast, Archetypes, on the 25th anniversary of Lady Diana Spencer's death.

"This anniversary wasn't exactly a surprise; we knew it was coming," the journalist pointed out.

"So why would you schedule that interview for yesterday? Why not put the podcast off for a week. You know, get out of the news cycle."

Taking to Twitter, Ford added: "On the actual 25th anniversary of Princess Diana's death, guess who inserts herself into the news cycle?

"[She could have done] a podcast that drops today that talks about Diana's legacy and causes she supported. Would actually get massive coverage had she done it.

"Or alternately she has the sway to tell Spotify to not release it for 24 hours. Surely this must cross Prince Harry's mind?"

"Am I right in thinking, if this is The Crown, they must be heading towards the Nineties?"

"Can I be, can I be on the wall of Prince Harry, or Prince William’s bedroom at Buckingham Palace or wherever it is they grew up? Could that be.

King Edward VIII’s German allies explained by historian

The Queen’s late uncle was King for a very short period of time before abdicating to marry his American socialite lover.

A historical journalist claims that Edward VIII “turned the other cheek” to Nazi activity, and openly sided with Germany amid the Second World War.

In 1937, he went on a tour of Nazi Germany, and the Union Jack flag was flown alongside the Nazi flag.

Himself and his wife Wallis Simpson were even hosted by Adolf Hitler in Bavaria.

Historian Andrew Lownie, told Vanity Fair this summer: “I think he knew perfectly well. When he did his tour [of Germany] in October 1937, he saw a concentration camp. He inspected the SS.

“He read the papers, so he must have seen even before the war there were all sorts of terrible things going on.

“I don’t think he could have had any misconception about what the Nazis were about.”

Clémence states that the rules of succession were changed in 2013, when Prince George was born.

She wrote: “The rules of succession changed to favour the eldest child, rather than the eldest son.”

Speaking on the future of the Institution, she said: ” If it’s going to be here at all, then it needs to evolve.

“Giving the ladies it so essentially needs a fair shake might be the best place to start.”
