Secret Amazon trick gets your order quicker – you just have to make a simple change

AN AMAZON shopper took to TikTok to show off her sneaky trick that secures quick shipping with just one click, but may not work on all purchases.

Using the username PrettyLittleDIY, the savvy shopper demonstrates an Amazon hack that gave her fast, free shipping, and reduced the ship time on her package by three days.

After purchasing an item from Amazon, navigate to your Orders page and select "Order Info" for the item you're trying to ship more quickly.

Under the item's name, a tab says "View or Change This Order."

If your item has not shipped yet, then "Change shipping speed" should appear as a choice.

On this screen, PrettyLittleDIY says, you may see another button with the option "Save Shipping Speed."

"It should say 'one business day once shipped," she points out.

Selecting that option will expedite your shipping.

"Happy shopping!" says the TikToker.

However, this option may not be available for all orders.

In the comments, some users reported the option wasn't available, or their items would cost an additional fee to ship faster, even for those with Amazon Prime.

"It charged me $2," said one user.

"It totally just worked! I had an item that wasn’t supposed to come until the 30th and I did this and it said the 22nd now," said another.

"It let me do it, but I’m still getting my package on the original date," said a third commenter.

"I hate when this stuff doesn’t actually work."

Shoppers may find that expediting the shipping is only available for items fulfilled directly from Amazon, and those being shipped to certain zip codes.

Some in the comments also theorized that the hack may work better if you're ordering multiple items, since it may give you the option to combine them into one shipment.
