When is Black Friday 2022?
Black Friday will take place on November 25 this year.
Black Friday is originally an American event that takes place the day after Thanksgiving, but the huge retail tradition has become a global affair over the last few years.
Deals usually pour in from Friday and continue through the weekend, which is now commonly referred to as Cyber Weekend.
What to expect in the Selfridges Black Friday 2022 sale?
Selfridges tends not to officially take part in Black Friday sales.
However, in recent years the upmarket department store has opted to launch 'Christmas Comes Early' discounts instead.
Last year the discounts were launched two weeks ahead of Black Friday, so keep an eye on the Selfridges website from mid-November this year.
What time does Selfridges stores open during Black Friday?
All Selfridge stores have different opening times.
The London and Manchester Trafford Centre stores normally open from 10am every day, except for Sunday when they open at 11.30am.
The Birmingham store opens at 9am Monday-Saturday, and 11am on Sunday.
While the Manchester Exchange Square store opens at 10am Monday-Friday, 9am on Saturday and 11am on Sundays.
The retailer has yet to confirm whether opening times will change on Black Friday, but you can check out the store opening times online here.
When is Cyber Monday 2022 and will Selfridges be taking part?
The Monday after the Black Friday weekend is called Cyber Monday, and it's when retailers encourage shoppers to go online to grab the final bargains before Christmas.
This year Cyber Monday falls on November 28.
Because Selfridges doesn't usually hold an official Black Friday sale, it doesn't normally do an official Cyber Monday sale either.
However, the brand is likely to be hosting its own pre-Christmas deals, so you should be able to snap up some discounts on Cyber Monday anyway.
