FOR MOST, washing in the shower probably seems quite simple, so probably isn't a topic worth debating.
But a woman has sparked a huge conversation online after criticising her husband for not scrubbing his legs and feet.
Posting on Mumsnet, the anonymous user known online as @kissmybaubles, wrote: "To be shocked husband doesn't wash his legs and feet in the shower?
"Had to use the toilet while my husband was in the shower this morning and noticed that he doesn't actually wash his legs or feet.
"I asked him about it and he said he never does, he just lets the water and soap run over them and that washes them…
"A) How did I not know this about him? B) Is this normal? Do people do this?

Another said: “I use a brush on my legs because I get dry skin on my shins. And always between my toes as they seem to collect all sorts of crud.”
A third added: "Feet yes, legs no."
Although one user stood up for the woman’s husband, commenting: "If after showering that way they don't smell or have any visible grime then they're clean. What else is washing for?"
Someone else put: "I have never once washed my legs and feet in the shower. If I shave, they get foam on them, but that’s it."
