The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are busy setting up their nursery at Frogmore Cottage as their multi-million pound revamp gets underway.
As part of the refurbishment, the nursery is said to be kitted out with the latest tech including cameras, security windows and a stereo system.
Royal expert Kate Nicholl revealed the Sussex’s plan on controlling the state-of-the -art nursery from the smartphones.
She told Vanity Fair: “They are going all out with the refurbishment of the house, and as Harry loves his gadgets, it’s going to be very cool.
“They’ll be able to control everything from their smart phones.”
Meghan is said to be hard at work creating mood boards which sketch out her vision for the two-bedroomed cottage.
The colour scheme for the nursery is said to be neutral, with white and grey tones in vegan paint, and no hints of pink or blue anywhere.
Vanity Fair quoted a source close to the couple, who said: “They are so excited about moving into the house.
“Meghan is super stylish and loves interior design so she’ll go all out with the nursery but also the kitchen, which she has designed as well as all the living areas.
“She wants the place to be filled with light, modern but also with a touch of the shabby-chic style that she loves.”
A gift from The Queen, their family home is also said to be equipped with a yoga studio complete with springboard floors, and an entire guest wing.
The renovations also include room for Meghan’s mother, Doria, to settle in as well.
While the Sussex’s are expecting their first child in spring, they have yet to hire a nanny, royal experts claim.
Shunning another royal tradition popular with Kate Middleton and Prince William, instead Harry and Meghan will rely on Doria to help with the childcare.
Kate Nicholl added: “They do not plan to hire a nanny or nurse initially, and will instead rely on the help of Meghan’s mother."
Plus Meghan Markle’s baby will have a gender-free nursery with a very modern white and grey colour scheme, royal insider reveal.
In other royal news, a doctor has warned that Meghan is "putting her baby at risk for sake of fashion" after wearing five inch heels.
And fans are claiming Meghan’s bump is bigger than six months – and here’s some celebs to compare.
