HARRY and William won't put their differences behind them for months – but their rift could yet grow deeper, a royal expert has claimed.
Author Phil Dampier said there will be no chance of a reconciliation for the brothers until Harry's book is finally published.
However, the bombshell memoir may make things worse rather than better, he warned.
The Sussexes are planning a return to the UK next month for a string of charity events.
And while they'll be staying at Frogmore Cottage on the Queen’s Windsor estate — days after William and Kate move into their new home Adelaide Cottage, 800 metres away – there'll be no meeting between the families.
Instead, it's understood the royals will be keeping their distance from each other during the trip.

Mr Dampier said The Firm are likely awaiting the release of Harry's book, which currently has no firm release date. However, the tome has been written and signed off by publishers, The Sun revealed last month.
"I can't see any chance of a reconciliation between the Sussexes and the Cambridges until Harry's book is out of the way," he said today.
"And it's likely to make things worse!"
Penguin Random House will try to get the book on shelves for the Thanksgiving and Christmas market in the US.

It's understood ghostwriter JR Moehringer completed the manuscript earlier in the summer.
Harry says his autobiography will be “heartfelt and intimate". But it's feared it could stoke up new troubles with the Royal Family.
He has been researching the life of his mother Princess Diana — and insiders worry he will blast step-mum Camilla, 75, who has been named future Queen Consort.
Sources say the Queen was the only member of the family who Harry informed about the writing of his memoir.
Angela Levin, who spent a year with Prince Harry as she wrote his biography, said she believes Mr Dampier's prediction is "quite right".
She has previously quoted a "well-informed source" who said the book will "focus heavily" on Harry's mother.
"I've been told by a well-informed source that Harry's memoir will focus heavily on the death of his mother Princess Diana, and who he blames," she said.

"If it's going to be intimate, as he says, I fear he risks looking like a traitor to the Royal Family.
"I think he is going to smash again. I don't know why. Does he want to destroy his family?
"Does he feel so vengeful that he has to take yet another knock after Oprah and Finding Freedom?"
It's believed Harry and William have spoken face-to-face just twice since the Sussexes moved to California.
