In their mindset, a big body could not possibly equate with being cheerful.

But this lady kept her composure and said sorry guys, big girls can be happy too – and lead full lives.

Emma Arletta's (@emma.aarletta) elegant response to keyboard warriors might shut them up.

She has a huge following of 669,000 on her TikTok where she makes her pledge clear: “Big girls want to have fun too.”

Emma began her post by sharing with her viewers the comment in question: “How are you so happy being a big girl?”

She was almost incredulous: “Why wouldn’t I be?"

Without missing a beat, she then showed a stream of images that clearly showed her having fun and being happy.

Either with friends, her partner, on vacation, or enjoying a cocktail, she looked happy.

It was an emotional state not dictated by body shape. She signed off with a clarion call: "Big girls start living your life.”

“Big girl and we are always happy," said one person.

This fan gave a feisty response: “I just live my life and people who don’t like it can kiss my a**.”

This fan's reaction was a rhetorical one: “Didn’t realize happiness was size dependent.”

And this person gave their opinion: “People act like big people are not allowed to be happy and we should just stay depressed or something.”
