A COUPLE who bought a 44-year-old sailboat and plan on transforming it into their tiny home say everyone asks the same question.
Lisa and Jeremiah, an American couple, shared their adventure on TikTok, explaining how and why they moved onto the boat.
"We just bought this boat and we're going to turn it into out tiny home," Lisa said.
"The boat is not even halfway there so we're making it liveable right now so we can at least move in."
The couple worked for months on transforming the boat before it became liveable.
But the biggest response to their lifestyle was people questioning how they funded everything.

"So glad you’re fulfilling your dream. Jobs? Online? How do you do it?" one person asked.
In response, Lisa explained she is a web designer and social media manager while her husband worked as a yacht broker.
She also said they managed to save a considerable amount of money while living on the boat due to not paying rent.
Instead they focused on paying off debt and saving money with their extra cash.

However, the couple said they have since completed the renovation and traded the boat in for a bigger model.
Lisa said their second boat did not need any renovations upon purchase.
The couple's endeavour comes amid hoards of others joining the tiny home movement.
0ne woman said while she saved money in the compact space, the upper level didn't even have enough space to stand.
