A SKINCARE fan has shared a hack to depuff your face while staying in a hotel, but it’s left people horrified.
Mireya Rios, from Mexico, took to her social media account to share the tip with her five million followers.
Dressed in a white robe with her hair up a top bun, she got a bucket of ice and took the lid off.
She used the tongs hanging on the side of the bucket to pick up an ice cube and swiped it all over her face.
“Hotel room skincare hack,” she wrote over the 10 second clip.
In the caption, TikTok user @mireyarios added: “Ice on the face to depuff!”

But people were left mortified by the hack and flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts over it.
“Omgg as a front desk at a hotel I wouldn’t recommend this,” one person shared.
Another said: “The only reason I wouldn’t do this is because if they don’t clean the ice machine well, god knows how much funk and mould that gets stuck in there.”
A third posted: “Not good directly on your skin! Should use a thin towel between but does only help with puffiness”.

Meanwhile, a former hotel manager recently revealed that one of the two items guests should never use when staying in the rooms is an ice bucket.
Melissa Hanks (@melly_creations) knows exactly which items in the room should be avoided at all costs
In a video on Tiktok, she revealed that whenever she's staying in a hotel she steers clear of glasses and ice buckets – for some pretty grim reasons.
While showing people the items in her hotel room, she said: "The drinking glasses in this room are sealed. They have the plastic on them.
"There are some hotels where they have the glass glasses, and I would not use those unless I washed them out completely myself first."
Melissa then turned her attention to the ice bucket, saying: "This guy's another story – I will not use an ice bucket at all.
"People use these for things that you don't even want to think about, I've cleaned out puke from them.
"If I need ice, I will use this bag and I'll just fill it up with ice, or I'll take the cups to fill them up."
