Woman shares genius tip to make your jeans fit perfectly when they’re WAY too tight and there's no lunging involved | The Sun

A WOMAN has taken to TikTok to share the genius way she stretches out her jeans when they’re way too tight out of the wash. 

Austin Marie Claire revealed that spraying her jeans with water while wearing them helps loosen the waistband and forces them to mold to her body.


The TikTokker, known online as @austinmarieclaire, regularly shares life updates with her 539,000 followers. 

In a new reel, she said: “Casually spraying my jeans with water because they shrunk in the dryer.” 

Below the video, she added: “I may have looked like I p***** myself but my jeans fit again so idc.” 

During the 10-second video, Austin is seen spraying the crotch, pockets, and waistband of her jeans with water.

While they dry, she bends forward, trying to loosen the waistband. 

At the end of the video, she reveals that her jeans, now dry, fit perfectly. 

Fans loved the content creator’s quick and easy hack, with the video gaining more than 41,400 likes and 3.5 million views. 

She’s not the only one sharing her fashion hacks online – Marly took to TikTok to reveal how she stops her trousers from dragging on the floor by using fashion tape on the outside of her shoes.

She wrote: “POV: using fashion tape so my leggings don’t drag on the floor.”

During the seven-second video, Marly reveals how she placed four small strips of fashion tape around the outside of her Ugg boots. 

She secured the bottom of her leggings to this, which stopped them from dragging on the floor. 

Below the video, she added: “Short people problems.”

Fans loved her quick and easy hack, with the video gaining more than 290,000 likes and 2.4 million views.
