IT'S become a bit of a trend recently to use fake tan to contour the face.
But one woman decided to try something slightly different – by using henna to try and give herself some facial definition.
Zfen has been sharing videos on her TikTok page demonstrating the unique process, using a thick make-up brush to apply the dark henna to her skin.
After putting stripes of the liquid onto her cheekbones, jawline and forehead, she takes a tissue to gently dab it and remove the excess.
Not everyone was impressed by the beauty hack though, with one commenting: "Giving yourself a look of hyperpigmentation."
"Everyone with hyperpigmentation watching this like…" another added.

As another person asked: "Miss girl what are you doing?"
After many requests for a results video, Zfen returned to TikTok to share one.
And while some praised the "sharp cheekbones" the henna contour had given her, others weren't sure by the finished look.
"Looks like a 5 o'clock shadow," one raged.
"Hold up, is this hair colour?" another asked.
To which Zfen replied: "It sure is, and it saves me a lot of time to get ready for work."
In addition to using the henna to contour her face, she's also tried it as semi-permanent lip liner – the results of which saw her labelled a "genius" by some.
And she's even used the multi-use product to do her brows as well.
