Someone else agreed, commenting: ''I'm too afraid of getting glue in my eye.''
Now that the falsies are on, it's time to add a setting spray to help the make-up last all day.
But what if there was another way – and it was totally free?
Lisa Eldridge, from the UK, went back in time to dig up this forgotten hack.
The hack originates form Ern Westmore, a Hollywood makeup artist who worked for Warner Bros back in the 1920s.
And the easy hack still works today, says Lisa.
In a TikTok video, she said: "I tried this 100-year-old makeup hack and it works!"
After finishing her full-glam Hollywood siren makeup look following a tutorial by Ern Westmore, she tried his hack set the makeup in place.
While many of us opt for a setting spray to lock our makeup in, there's an even simpler solution and its great for the warmer months.
And it gets our seal of approval as it's totally free.
Lisa demonstrates that all you need is ice cold water and a few cotton wool pads.

The makeup artist also said it was better than a setting spray as it took off any excess powder form the face, leaving your skin looking more radiant.
