Caught red-pawed! Sneaky pets who can’t resist trying to steal human food

It’s long been known that they way to an animal’s heart is usually through their stomach.

And while most humans can’t help but lavish their beloved pets with tasty treats and meals, for some greedy creatures, that isn’t quite enough.

The cunning critters in these photos taken by animals lovers from around the world, and collated into a gallery by Bored Panda, were not satisfied with their rations.

In the hilarious images, you can see the lengths these cats, dogs, and other animals have gone to, in order to get their paws on some extra grub.

Among the adorable snaps, is one showing a kitten trying to drink through a straw, with her tiny paws wrapped around the human-sized cup.

A cat owner believed to be in the US took this photo of their kitten trying to steal some of their drink – but when a thief is that cute, can you really get angry?

Meanwhile, another funny photo shows a sneaky mog reaching across their human’s desk to try and get their mitts on a cheeseboard.

Elsewhere, one dog was caught in the act, with a large slice of pizza still hanging out of his mouth.

And another canine’s stealing ways were discovered when he helped himself to his human’s slush drink – dying his tongue blue in the process.
