So your kids have been out of school for a long time, which means that come September it is doubtful that their old uniform will fit them.
Not to worry, as supermarket chains Aldi and Lidl are to the rescue, allowing you to pick up uniform for just a fraction of the price.
Lidl is selling their school uniform for under £5 and it'll include essentials such as a sweatshirt for a bargain 50p, polo shirts with a £1.75 price tag and either school trousers, shorts or a skirt for £1.75.

The store, who also have a range of stationary and workbooks available too, are selling PE kit including sports shorts for £2.99, trainers for £5.99 and jogging bottoms for £2.99.
And for the cooler days to come you can pick up a school cardigan should you need, for £3.49.
There's also a school pinafore available to buy for £2.99. The range is made from quality materials made to last.
Aldi are selling a series of back-to-school items online and you can get your hands on uniform in stores on 12 August, so that you can prepare your kids ahead of time, and not have to elbow your way to the till in a frantic rush just days before schools starts.
The offer will include a Lily and Dan Kids' Sweatshirt, available in red and navy for 50p and there is also the chance to pick up girls and boys trousers with a £1.75 price tag.
You can get polo shirts for both girls and boys for £1.75 in white and blue.
The bundle is the same as the one sold by the supermarket last year, and is on sale as part of Aldi’s popular Back to School range.
The clothing will be available for children aged three to 11.

Additionally, the garments will actually make you feel good about buying them, as they don't consist of fast fashion and throwaway threads.
The items are made from recycled plastic bottles and are a product of the ‘Cotton Made In Africa’ initiative.
This is an organisation that strives to improve the living and working conditions of African cotton farmers and their families.

The Back to School range also includes PE kits, shoes and shirts as well as other trousers. Additionally you can purchase items in the bundle as separates.
However, as the clothes are included in the Aldi Specialbuys range which notoriously sells out fast, you'd better be quick.
