While some have been prepping their turkey for hours prior to the big day, others are still yet to purchase their meat.
Now, supermarket Aldi have proven that last minute shoppers might actually be on to something.

The popular retailer has taken to social media on Christmas Eve to announce that all of its meat is now reduced, with some products discounted by 75 per cent.
Posting a snap of a huge turkey, Aldi told shoppers: "Fresh meat up to 75% off in store now. We’re cutting prices and cutting waste this Christmas", along with some festive emojis.
The supermarket shared the news on Facebook and Twitter, and followers were quick to praise the brand for its attempt to cut waste.
One person wrote: "Can't fault you! Well done!", as another added: "Bagged myself this little beauty for £5!!! Amazing!"
A third shopper commented: "Well done Aldi", while others flocked to thank the retailer for its last-minute deals.
