Us Brits love a mince pie or two over the festive season.
It's hard not to munch on one as Christmas gets closer, and we throw ourselves into the celebrations. You can't beat a little sweet treat on the run up to the big day.
This year Aldi has put a boozy twist on their pies by lacing them with Ballycastle (the supermarket's own take on Bailey's), and people are raving about them. What's not to love?

Writing on Instagram, Aldi said: "NEW IN FOR CHRISTMAS. We've levelled up our mince pies and added BALLYCASTLE! Will you be trying them?"
According to the product description, the pies comprise of brandy and port pastry and are topped with a Ballycastle buttercream. Sounds like a booze-lover's dream.
Since they were shared over 1,000 people have liked the post, and customers seem keen to snap them up. They're already proving pretty popular.
One person said: "They are amazing but not been in stock at my Aldi past two times I went." Another wrote: "Need these in my life, basket and belly,"
A third replied: "These are the best!!! I ate all 6. They are not for sharing!!! Make sure they come back next year!!!"
Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "Nicest mince pies I've ever had."
Aldi delighted fans a few weeks ago when it announced it was selling pies stuffed with pigs in blankets. The supermarket's Festive Pies have been released to mark the festive season, and shoppers are super excited about them.
Since pictures of the savoury treats were shared on Instagram, food lovers seem more than keen to tuck in. Alongside a picture of the pies, Aldi wrote: "NEW IN FOR CHRISTMAS. It's no secret that we LOVE pigs in blankets… so much so that we put them in a pie. Grab our Festive Pies in store now!"
