Bikini designer and model Karina Irby hit out at her haters in her latest online post.

The Moana Swim CEO and social media star took to her Instagram page to tell people they need to "be better".

Karina, 33, told her 1.1million followers she hadn't posted online in five days amid "gross and disgusting" trolls.

This includes people death threats, calling her names and mocking her skin condition.

The swimwear designer, known for her body positive posts, urged people "hiding behind their screens" to "be better".

The Australian star shared the caption alongside a photo of herself proudly flashing her booty in a thong bikini surrounded by negative comments.

Writing to her fans, she said: "NAME AND SHAME.

"My life on the internet… Sometimes you just need a little breather.

"I haven’t posted in 5 days because sometimes I feel like… What’s the point?

"People tell me to kill myself. Call me names. Discourage my work. Call out my skin conditions."

She continued: "I LOVE social media, and I LOVE putting myself out there to help others feel less alone, make someone smile and distract people from their busy lives.

"But I don’t love how people can treat one another on here. Hiding behind their screens. What gross and disgusting behaviour.

"People literally end their lives over comments like this.

"We all need to #BEBETTER. Better at not listening. And better to never speaking to others like this."

Fans were quick to support the star, with her post racking up more than 71,000 likes.

"You are an inspiration… they are just sad sad people," wrote one.

As another added: "The existence of people who comment like that are the evil problem of society.

A third gushed: "Cannot believe it, this makes me so sad, @karinairby you are a GODDESS."

While a fourth added: "All those comments are absolutely disgusting."

The post comes after Karina previously celebrated a successful 2022, which included the launch of her OnlyFans page and getting married to partner Ryan Jones twice.
