They’re about to light it up like dynamite.
On Friday, Louis Vuitton announced K-pop supergroup BTS as the newest ambassadors for the French fashion house.
RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook sported coordinating pastel shirts for the announcement, which hailed their “uplifting messages that impart a positive influence.”
The announcement likely won’t come as a shock to fans; in January, BTS starred in a teaser video for Virgil Abloh’s Fall 2021 collection for the brand. And just last month, the “Dynamite” singers attended the 2021 Grammys in custom Louis Vuitton suits.
While the band is known for their runway-ready looks in music videos and on red carpets — and previously worked with sportswear brands Puma and Fila — this marks their first time serving as ambassadors for a luxury label.
The BTS “Army” can expect their favorite singers to participate in special projects for the brand and, of course, wear Vuitton for upcoming performances and appearances.
