CADBURY is bringing back its Secret Santa Postal Service and you could get free chocolate.

Now running for the sixth year, the idea is the same – shoppers order a free bar for their loved ones.

To enter, participants must locate a Cadbury Secret Santa Postal Service digital or static poster in the UK and scan the QR code when available.

Participants will be directed to a website and notified if the daily limit of free giveaways is reached.

Any unclaimed giveaways will be rolled over to the next day until the end of the Postal Service Period.

The posters will pop up around the UK between November 6 and December 24.

You can compare prices on Trolley.co.uk to browse who sells them for the cheapest.

In other news, Cadbury was forced to apologise after customers were left in shock after discovering normal-size Twirls in Heroes tubs instead of the bite-size version.

The confectioner said: "Due to supply chain issues, in a small percentage of Heroes tubs we have temporarily substituted bitesize Cadbury Twirl to the slightly larger Cadbury Twirl 21g.

"This means you will still have the same amount of chocolate to enjoy in every tub!"

Currently, 600g Cadbury Hero tubs are selling for £5 at Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury's (with a £4 Clubcard price at Tesco) – all up from £4 last year.

Asda sells the same tubs for £4.50 – up from £4 this time last year.

It comes only a year after Mondelez, the US food giant which owns Cadbury, first told The Sun that supply chain issues affected the availability of bite-size Cadbury Twirl products.

But it wasn't the first time Cadbury had been hit with supply chain issues in 2022.
