Jermaine is a former Liverpool and Arsenal footballer who has also starred on Celebrity Big Brother.
The 40-year-old is currently dating actress and Love Island star Jess Impiazzi, 33.
The reality TV star recently spoke out about their relationship, sharing that they have both helped each other through their traumatic childhoods.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: "When two people have been through something traumatic, it can be toxic or healing. Luckily, we’ve been the healing thing for each other."
Jess, who also starred on Celebrity Big Brother, said she opted to keep their relationship private for the first five months.
But in March 2022, she confirmed her romance with the ex-footballer xafter the pair were spotted holidaying in Tenerife together.
Speaking to Bobby Norris and Stephen Leng on Access All Areas on FUBAR Radio, she spoke of what a “nice time” she and Jermaine, 39, had on a trip abroad.
After being asked for more details on the blossoming romance as the time she gushed that: “Everything’s going well and I’m happy."
During his time in the public eye, Jermaine has hit the headlines for several reasons, including being jailed for three months for drink driving.
After serving 30 days behind bars, he was released and became the first Premier League player with an electronic tag on his ankle.
He has also been open about his money struggles, at one point declaring himself bankrupt, despite earning millions.
Speaking out about the ordeal, he told The Sun: “I bought houses but never spoke to an estate agent and had mortgages that I did not know about.”
“I took bad advice from bad people and just lived day to day. There was a fixer who arranged things for me, but now I realise he swindled me out of money.”
The Arsenal star has opened up about his troubled past, revealing that he had problems with binge drinking and addiction due to childhood trauma.
Speaking to TalkSport, he shared that his mother had abandoned him when he was just three, leaving him to be brought up by his dad who struggled with substance abuse.
“I was abandoned by my mother when I was three, my father had me on weekends and when he took me back and my mum was never there,” he bravely shared.
“My father raised me to the best of his abilities and when I was around six or seven, he then neglected me.
"So I would take myself to school, make my own dinners, which was Cornflakes. It got to the point where my mates would call me 'The Cornflake Kid', because that's all I'd eat.”
Jermaine was previously married to model Alice Goodwin, to whom he tied the knot in 2014.
The former Liverpool winger caused controversy in the Celebrity Big Brother house over his flirtatious behaviour, which included him sharing a kiss with model Chloe Ayling despite being married.
Over the years, he’s dated a number of high-profile women, including model Lara Murphy, with whom he shares a son named Trey.
He has also previously been in a relationship with Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes McQueen on the soap, but the pair reportedly broke up after Jermaine moved to Spain for work.
Since joining the cast of Celebrity SAS, he has already got people talking after going up against former health Matt Hancock in episode 1.
