A UNIQUE home with amazing features including historic stained glass windows has come up for sale at £120,000 – but it conceals a dark surprise.
With the ornate stonework still intact, this former library's impressive looks may be hiding a creepy surprise for its next owner.
Due to be sold at auction on July 20, the historic Hipperholme library was closed in 2020 following cuts to the council budget and has sat unused since then.
Despite the promise of such a unique property, potential buyers would be well advised to first look inside the mysterious old building.
A virtual tour released by Pugh and Company Limited, the agents selling the library, seems closer to footage from a horror movie than a property tour.
Inside, the camera weaves through winding corridors and down into a dark dilapidated basement, while another unmarked door leads through to a room loaded with old machinery.
