Cole Sprouse admits he and ex-girlfriend Lili Reinhart did a lot of “damage” to each other during their on-again, off-again relationship.
“It was really hard,” he said in a teaser clip of his upcoming interview with the “Call Her Daddy” podcast on Monday. “I know we both did quite a bit of damage to each other.”
During the interview, which comes out Wednesday, the actor also says he’s been cheated on “by almost every single one” of his ex-girlfriends.
In May 2020, Page Six exclusively reported that Reinhart, 26, and Sprouse, 30, had called it quits after almost three years of dating.
A source told us at the time that the “Riverdale” co-stars “split before the pandemic hit, and have been quarantining separately,” adding, “They remain good friends.”
That August, Reinhart seemingly referenced the split from the “Suite Life of Zack & Cody” alum, telling Refinery29 that the last couple of months have “probably [been] the most emotional few months of my entire life.”
“My therapist [told] me, ‘Your body’s going through withdrawal from love,’” she said. “‘You’re used to having this exchange of happy chemicals between you and the person that you’re with.’ In moments of my life, I have dropped every ounce of pride that I had just to be like, Love me. Please take the pain away for a day, a second, an hour, just so I can feel that fix again.”
However, the “Hustlers” actress later took to Twitter to clarify her remarks, tweeting that they were “not about a ‘breakup.’”
“They are about the depression I’ve felt over these last few months,” she added. “Tired of people taking my words out of context and piecing together their own story for clickbait.”
One day later, the “Five Feet Apart” actor spoke out for the first time about their split.
“Lili and I initially separated in January of this year, deciding to more permanently split in March,” Sprouse wrote on Instagram at the time.

“What an incredible experience I had, I’ll always feel lucky and cherish that I had the chance to fall in love. I wish her nothing but the utmost love and happiness moving forward.
“All I’ll say about it, anything else you hear doesn’t matter,” he added.
Sprouse then concluded his post by promoting the drama “Chemical Hearts,” Reinhart’s new film scheduled to come out two days after his Instagram post was made.
“Also her movie comes out soon! I’m sure she’s just as incredible in it as everything else she does. Thanks guys ❤️,” he wrote.
