A dad who got a Tesco Clubcard tattooed onto his arm has only collected £18 worth of points in eight months.
Dean Mayhew got the barcode inking so he could scan it supermarket tills.
He's used this method twice a day since July 2022 – and even sent a picture to his friends so they can use it too.

But even though it's unlikely he's covered the cost of the tattoo, the 31-year-old has no regrets.
By the end of the year, he hopes to have saved enough to cover Christmas dinner costs.
The 31-year-old scaffolder, from Bideford in north Devon, said: "I still use it all the time. I love the tattoo so much.
"Sometimes when I go in there, the cashier doesn't believe it's real – I have to tell them 'just scan it please!' and they're shocked.
"Everything's going up in price so I'm always making sure I get it scanned now.
"With the points, I'm going to save them up and save towards the cost of Christmas…
"Sometimes for presents, in the toy section things will be half the price when you get a Clubcard discount.
"I've also done in the past where I've gone to Tesco and done a big shop, and the points I saved up would take it down by half.
"It will help out a lot, especially this year, with everything going up in price.
"I definitely don't regret getting the tattoo."
Dan – who got the inking done by artist Dan Rossetter, 39, at A Star Tattoo in Chessington, Surrey – has more body art planned too.
The dad-of-three is thinking about getting a Nectar card etched into his skin for when he shops at Sainsbury's.
He added: "I could use the one on my phone but I want to use the one on my arm as it’s funny. "
