Dr Pimple Popper makes stomachs churn by comparing squishy cyst to ‘linguine’

Dr Pimple Popper had her fans squirming when she removed a cyst that splurted out pus in a way the dermatologist said reminded her of "linguine".

In a video, she makes an incision with her surgical blade in the scalp of a patient and then presses down on either side.

The thick and yellow pus quickly oozes out in a single fat strand – apparently reminding her of fresh pasta – and she wipes it away with medical gauze.

Dr Pimple Popper, real name Sandra Lee MD, then gets to work removing the cyst sac so it will not grow back and full up with pus all over again.

She pinches it with her tweezers and then turns the cyst inside-out, before cutting it away with scissors.

With the cyst successfully removed, she gets to work sewing it up as discreetly as possible.

Dr Lee uploaded the clip onto her official @drpimplepopper TikTok channel on Wednesday (November 3) with the caption: "Pilar cyst Linguini LOVE."

The video was watched more than 70,000 times and people were disgusted and fascinated by her impressive handiwork.

One user asked: "How do you get your pasta to have such great consistency?"

"Took a piece of his brain out," said another shocked viewer.

Someone else joked: "Is this what happens when you hold in a sneeze?"

Another user confessed: "I couldn't finish watching this so I'm hiding in the comments."

The dermatologist started out on YouTube before signing a deal with US lifestyle TV channel TLC in 2018 and is now a household name.

Dr Lee previously told Daily Star: "My main concern is to not make a fool of my patients, not to make them feel embarrassed for what they have shown the world.

"They're the ones who have to be bravest here."
