Dr Pimple Popper removes baseball-sized tumour from man’s head

A man has had a baseball-sized tumour removed from his head thanks to celebrity Dr Pimple Popper.

Jose enlisted the help of Dr Sandra Lee – known as Dr Pimple Popper – after becoming worried about the size of the benign lipoma which was protruding from the side of his forehead.

Speaking on her TV show Dr Lee said: "The biggest challenge is maintaining Jose’s hairline. I need to repair this area so that the hair grows in a normal way."

On the operating table Dr Lee uses her hands to dig out most of the lipoma while pushing and pulling at Jose’s head.

It was a huge challenge as it was "very fibrous" and wouldn’t simply "pop out" of Jose’s head.

Dr Lee had to laboriously take out piece by piece, cutting each part away.

"I know it might look barbaric for me to use my fingers, but it is much better to use my fingers than to use something sharp."

She eventually managed to take the entire tumour away before delicately recreating his hairline.

Jose’s traumatic surgery was part of this week’s episode on Dr Lee’s show, which also featured 17-year-old Taylore.

The teenager had grown ‘elf ears’ over the past two years which were stopping her pursuing her dream of becoming a model.

Taylore was asked to remove her cartilage ear piercing at summer camp when she was 15, but the resulting keloids on her ears has led to two years of pain and tears.

Dr Lee chopped off the keloids in her operating theatre.
