Disney turning animated favorites into live-action movies is nothing new, but we still get beyond excited every time a new film is released. Dumbo is one of the most beloved Disney animations of all time and if the teaser trailer for the upcoming adaptation that was just released is any indication, the live-action version is going to be equally as amazing.
Directed by Tim Burton, who also helmed the 2010 adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, the live-action version of Dumbo truly looks to be one of Disney’s most haunting flicks yet. The movie stars Colin Farrell as Holt Farrier, Michael Keaton as V. A. Vandemere, Eva Green as Colette Marchant and Danny DeVito as Max Medici, but the real star is a CGI baby elephant with bright blue eyes that’ll break your heart.
Dumbo is set to premiere in March 2019, which means we have less than a year to wait. We know that seems like quite a long time, but, in the grand scheme of things, really isn’t that bad. Check out the first teaser above!
