Model Ella Baig has hit back at critics after she faced criticism over a photograph showing her breastfeeding her son while wearing ‘sexy’ lingerie.
The 23-year-old Instagram model, who shares a son with former Olympic boxer Nicola Adams, posted a photo of herself lying on a bed wearing stockings, suspenders and a lingerie set as she breastfed her five-month-old.
While many praised the intimate photograph, saying the star looked ‘amazing in your lingerie and feeding your baby’, others called the shot ‘inappropriate’, with one saying it ‘creeped me out.’

The model responded to the criticism, saying that breastfeeding and working as a lingerie model can ‘coexist’, saying they’re ‘not interchangeable’
Baig, who’s been dating Adams since 2018, posted the image alongside a caption saying that her superpower was making milk.
She wrote: ‘Honestly still find it crazy that my body literally makes milk and my baby lives off it, or for it in his case! Boobs are so over sexualised and breastfeeding has given me a whole new perspective on them, it’s such a wholesome feeling watching my baby feed and how content he is.’
She added: ‘Now, don’t get me wrong, boobs are hot too but just like any other body part they shouldn’t be reduced to only being hot… they have purpose and don’t need to be hidden away. On another note, how cute is this [lingerie] set?’
After some posted negative comments about the photograph, including one who wrote: ‘Having your baby in a sexy pic is very inappropriate’, Baig responded in her Instagram stories, saying it was currently the reality of her life as she juggles work as a lingerie model with feeding her son.

She wrote: ‘Why can’t we be sexy while being a mum? Do the two have to be separate?’
Baig added that feeding her child shouldn’t ‘extinguish my sexuality’.
Many responded positively to the photograph. One wrote: ‘You’re doing amazing, people saying it weird, it’s not – breastfeeding is most natural thing in the world.’
Another added: ‘You look amazing in your lingerie and you’re feeding your child. What’s up with people.’
In July, the couple shared their baby news on Instagram after previously saying it took four rounds of IVF to get pregnant. The baby, who already has his own Instagram account, was delivered by C-section.
In May, Ella hit back at trolls after she shared pictures of her baby bump. The model took to Instagram to post snaps of herself in a grey dress cradling her blossoming bump as she criticised online trolls for their hateful comments about her pregnancy.
In a lengthy caption, Ella said she and her former boxer girlfriend often see comments about how their baby isn’t really theirs because its ‘biologically impossible’.
Ella hit back at the ‘cruel’ trolls, asking why people couldn’t just be happy knowing that their baby will be loved, rather than questioning them for using IVF and a sperm donor.
